Merry Christmas

G'day viewers'
Thought I'd wish every one a merry Christmas and A happy new year!
This Christmas makes the first one with out my beautiful dog Ben , the border collie, and my budgie Dexter....
But I guess life goes on and we must move forward as hard as it is...

For those that didn't know, my father Alan , went to hospital a couple of weeks ago for pneumonia . He had to have fluid drained from his lungs and that was tough going for both of us, he is back home now which is great!!

I spend alot of time with my dad, now that it's just us here and he's 87 now. It's alot of work looking after dad but I love him!!!

Next year in march we are planning to travel to Europe so will have heaps of updates and videos too!!! So please keep checking up on my site.
There's always something happening!!!

What a day

G'day ,
Well , its been 4 years ago today since my mother past away, I can still remember holding her hand and waiting, till she took her  last breath.. I'll always miss you mum..


on a happy note Annette and Greng gave me a new budgie today,
his name is Buddy, after Buddy Holly. He's a baby boy so hopefully he'll last
as long as Dexter did!!

RIP Dexter the budgie 30/10/2010

Dexter the budgie passed away over night,  I got him when I  first moved out of home in the early 90's, he was having trouble walking around and getting up on his perch.. poor guy.

He loved listening to the radio and chatting away to it. 

Thanks Dexter for being my friend over these years ... I'll miss you..

A week already????

Hi, well, its been a week this time last friday and around this time about 1.20pm ish that Ben Ramsay passed away, I cant believe it, already a week???

Its been a long one at that, lots of emotions , and a broken heart ..

I hope one day another 4 legged friend can help heal it, but I cant do anything untill Dad and I come backfrom our Uk trip in Feb..

I still find myself talking to him, and kind of looking around to make sure im not going to walk on him...or step on him accidentaly  .. he let me know if I did that,

He was great dog, never once snapped or tried to bit me,he never scared me , except when i knew he was sick...

Ben loved the car drives 

He loved going in the car for drives and walks, and he absolotley loved the park down the road, now Bens park.

He would love sitting on his lounge and watch tv with me, or eat some of my dinner ,

He would sit next to me if i was in the office, or on the floor by the door , and at night he'd sleep on his pillow,right by my bed , every night.... I used to love patting him , hugging him and listen to him snore.

Every night since i got him, when he had trouble sleeping, or there was a thunderstorm...
 Id sit next to him and sing to him, just nice soft voice, his eye lids would close and he'd be fast asleep snoring his head off..then usually at 3 or 4 am he'd come and  wake me up in my room to be let out, and he'd always come back..

Today is Ben Ramsays funeral day,
I thouhgt I'd never see this happen, at least not for another couple of years..

I miss you so much my best friend.. friends unitll the end, I hugged you and cuddled you right
to the last minute of your life.. I will always remember you , always my gardian angel

My best friend Ben Ramsay, passed away.

the Vet came to Bens house and was very very good to him, no pain, no noise..

Ben Ramsay just went to sleep on his favorite lounge.. next to me, where I sit every night

He was the greatest, the best dog, best friend I ever had, he was more than a dog,

he was almost human, in fact he was more human than most of us !!

I love you Ben Ramsay, my guardian angel, how am I to live with out you???

Tumut , a bit chilli!!

Dad ,ben the dog and I made it to Tumut yesturday, not a bad trip nice to reach the park though.
Its a very nice spot, right on the water and hopefully dad might catch something this time..
Its quite a big caravan park, dog friendly and other animals around , may have seen a posum last night, not sure, it ran past me out side and stood up on its back legs, looked around and then shot up into a tree, any idease?? email me

The Big 40 !!!

well this day 40 years ago I made my way into the world, scary thought I know... !!
dont know what I think about being this old, I still feel im about 25ish.....
my next goal is 50,struth thats only 10 years away!! ouch.....

our latest trip

Dad and I have been spending a few nights here in Adaminaby, on the snowy  mountains, south coast nsw. Its breathtaking country down here, very pretty, wild horses, anmazing drive in .
not much luck in fishing though ,but fun getting there  , with some off roading
a great few days away

I saw Elvis and he is alive and in Nowra!

I was to young to be able to see Elvis when he was alive but tonite I got to see and meet Elvis to the Max, Max was really great , had Elvis nailed to a fine art, if you closed your eyes and just enjoyed his way of things it was just like as if you were at a real live Elvis concert then after the show i got to meet him..

He even signed things for people and during the show handed his scarfs to the ladies in the audience like Elvis did, Awsome. the band rocked and got the whole crowd going, was a fabulous night..Thanks Max errr Elvis.... 

Long time good times

We'll, I've had my mazda 2 (2004) for 6 years now, Its been a great little car, never done me any wrong or have any problems with it. Its called " The Road Runner" and thats what every one in town knows it as...
I know mazda have a pretty good name with there cars ,
